I'm a Ph.D. student in the Department of Evolutionary Biology and Ecology at the University of Toronto. I am broadly interested in behaviour genetics: understanding the underlying mechanisms for complex behavioural phenotypes. Specifically, I am researching the link between the neurotransmitter dopamine and novelty-seeking behaviour in the Trinidadian guppy, Poecilia reticulata. When I'm not swimming with the fishies, I am a sci-fi and nintendo nerd, with a little art thrown in on the side.
